Crobucha Kombucha is a well-known Kombucha producer in Croatia, with its facility located in Zagreb. It was born out of the founders’ passion for authentic flavors and their desire to offer healthy, refreshing sparkling beverages, while also strengthening the community by supporting local producers. Their recipes use only fresh herbs and fruits sourced sustainably from Croatian islands.

They focus on small-batch production to maintain the quality and pure taste that consumers love and enjoy. They actively explore new flavors and continuously collaborate with small-scale producers and organic growers.

Renowned for its unique organic flavors inspired by the Adriatic islands, CROBUCHA KOMBUCHA has gained visibility and is increasingly favored by a growing number of consumers. With rising sales, the company needed to expand its production capacity and upgrade its brewing equipment—introducing precise temperature control to ensure product stability and consistency.
The upgrade project primarily involved the fermentation/maturation system. Given the need for precise temperature control, related heating and cooling systems were also included. Based on their professional production experience, the project lead at CROBUCHA KOMBUCHA provided specific requirements. In response, SDET’s technical department proposed a tailored solution, including a configuration list, process flow diagram, and equipment layout plan. Both parties quickly reached an agreement, moving the project into the manufacturing phase.

For standard kombucha turnkey projects, SDET typically requires about 8 weeks (around two months) for processing and production. Custom projects can also be negotiated based on the customer’s desired delivery timeline. After two months, the 1000L Kombucha equipment was successfully completed—tanks, accessories, and all components were ready for shipment.

To ensure safety during extended sea transport, SDET carefully packs tank /vessels with foam wrapping and metal frame support. Auxiliary equipment is secured on pallets or in wooden cases, while smaller parts are consolidated into wooden boxes to prevent loss and simplify unloading.

“The container has arrived, and we’ve moved all the equipment to the installation area. Everything was well-protected—no damage or missing items,” reported the CROBUCHA KOMBUCHA project lead shortly after delivery.

The installation and commissioning specialist for the CROBUCHA KOMBUCHA project was very familiar with SDET’s equipment setup principles. The entire system was assembled and debugged in just over ten days. The team at Crobucha Kombucha later confirmed that product quality was excellent and all equipment was operating smoothly.

We believe CROBUCHA KOMBUCHA will continue to offer consumers more varieties of healthy, organic, and high-quality Kombucha beverages—stay tuned for more.
