The floating roof sits directly on the surface of the fermenting fruit wine and automatically adjusts its height as the liquid level falls or rises. By eliminating headspace, the floating roof tank minimizes the wine’s contact with oxygen, thereby perfectly preserving the vibrant color and rich, fresh fruity aroma of the fruit wine. More importantly, it reduces the contact area between the wine and the air inside the tank, which may contain harmful microorganisms, effectively suppressing contamination by wild yeasts and bacteria.

The floating roof tank is not only suitable for primary fermentation (Alcoholic Fermentation) but also ideal for the malolactic fermentation (MLF) and aging stages. Its protective role is particularly crucial during these prolonged, oxygen-sensitive processes.
