Part 1 – New Brewery Projects
If you’re planning to start your own brewery and looking for the most cost-effective brewing system, purchasing from China is your best choice!
Don’t worry if you have never purchased from China before — we’ll make the process simple and smooth for you. As a professional brewery equipment supplier, we’re happy to share what you should talk about with your supplier to find the right solution for your new brewery.

1. Basic Information We Need
Usually, we’ll learn about your batch volume, output, or brewing frequency (any two of these) to design a suitable brewery configuration.
A brewery system mainly consists of the brewhouse and fermentation.
Example:
Suppose you plan to produce 1000L beer/week, brewing twice a week.
1000L ÷ 2 = 500L — so 500L system(1×500L brewhouse + several fermenters) is suitable for you. Each time you brew, the 500L wort produced will go into a 500L fermenter for fermentation (which normally takes 15–21 days, depending on beer type).
While that fermenter is occupied, the brewhouse can start brewing the next batch — sending the wort to another fermenter.
2. If You Don’t Have a Clear Plan Yet
No problem — we can design a suitable solution based on your site size, equipment budget, and other preferences.
We provide turnkey brewery solutions, and we’re always happy to listen to your ideas in detail.
For example, if your space is limited or the ceiling is low, we’ll adjust the design to perfectly fit your site and brewing needs.
3. In Summary
When you consult with Chinese brewery equipment supplier, just share your basic brewing plan, site conditions, and budget ideas — we’ll handle the rest.
Our goal is to make your first brewery project simple, efficient, and successful.
If you’re planning to start a brewery, SDET is happy to provide you with full professional support and guidance at every step.
Part 2 – Expansion or Upgrade Brewery Projects
If you already have a brewery and plan to expand or upgrade your equipment, purchasing from China is also a great choice!
Don’t worry if you have never purchased from China before — we’ll make the process simple and smooth for you. As a professional brewery equipment supplier, we’re happy to share what you should talk about with your supplier to find the right solution for your project.

1. Clarify Your Main Purpose
Firstly, Expansion or Replacement & Upgrade?
A. Expansion
1) How much additional capacity do you plan to add?
(Please also tell us your brewhouse capacity and fermentation cycle so we can calculate the suitable number of fermenters.)
Or, if you can tell us the quantities and volume of fermenters, that’s perfect too.
2) Regarding your cooling system — can it support the new fermenters?
If not, we’ll include the additional cooling system for new fermenters in our quotation.
B. Replacement / Upgrade
1) Please tell us the exact equipment name you plan to replace.
2) Let us know why you want to upgrade or what improvements you expect, so we can design a better solution based on your needs and pain points.
2. Quotation and Design Process
Once the above information is confirmed, we’ll provide a detailed quotation plan for your reference.
After that, we can further discuss your personalized requirements (equipment detailed configuration, layout, etc.), and then update the proposal to make sure it’s the best fit for your brewery.
3. In Summary
Expanding or upgrading your brewery can be easy when you share these information with the equipment supplier.
Tell us your current setup and what you’d like to improve — and we’ll help you find a smart, cost-effective solution that keeps your brewery growing.
Part 3 – Shipping & Transportation
Once your basic requirements are confirmed, we will prepare a tailored quotation for your brewery project. After you approve it, the next essential step is to review the shipping method, freight cost, and estimated shipping timeline.

For many first-time buyers, logistics can feel complicated—but with the right supplier, the entire process becomes simple and stress-free.
Choosing the right logistics solution ensures your equipment arrives safely, on time, and at the best cost.

1. Confirm the Shipping Method
Different shipping terms define the responsibilities of both buyer and supplier. Common options include:
EXW – You or your forwarder pick up the equipment directly from our factory.
FOB – We deliver the equipment to the loading port and complete all export clearance procedures.
CIF – We arrange ocean freight and equipment insurance to your destination port.
DDU / DAP – We deliver to your location with door-to-door service (import duties excluded).
DDP – We deliver the equipment directly to your location with all import duties and taxes fully covered by us.
Not every brewery equipment manufacturer has a dedicated logistics team. That’s why at SDET, we take the time to explain the pros and cons of each method and recommend the one that truly fits your budget, local customs procedure, and delivery expectations.
Our goal is simple: make your job easier.
2. Understand Freight Fluctuation
Freight charges can vary depending on logistics demand and seasonal trends. A quotation provided at the early stage is for reference, and adjustments may occur.
Typical market pattern:
Aug–Nov → Peak season with higher freight rates
Jan–Mar → Low season with comparatively lower rates
A professional supplier will clarify these trends in advance, helping you make the right decision at the right time.
If the final freight cost differs from the prepaid amount by more than 5%, SDET will proactively adjust the difference—so you never pay more than you should.
This level of transparency is one of the reasons many breweries choose to partner with us long-term.
3. Required Documents & Supplier Support
Regardless of the shipping term you choose, your supplier must provide complete and accurate documentation to avoid delays.
SDET will always support you with:
~ Full set of shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, CO, etc.)
~ Export customs clearance handled entirely by our team
~ Close coordination with your forwarder for booking, loading, and tracking
~ Shipping insurance arrangement
~ Real-time updates on production progress and shipment
With decades of export experience, our logistics specialists handle every detail with precision—from packaging and loading to document accuracy—so your equipment arrives safely and compliantly.
Many clients tell us they feel “in good hands” throughout the entire process.
Part 4 – After-Sales Service
When purchasing brewery equipment, reliable after-sales support is essential. This chapter introduces SDET’s service system, giving you full confidence when choosing our equipment.
SDET Promise: No matter what issue you encounter, we will contact you within 24 hours and start handling it immediately. Fast response has been our long-standing service standard, and it has earned the trust of many customers worldwide.
Below is a direct comment from one of our clients:
SDET I can only say that they are the best company I ever worked with.
The level of craftsmanship is excellent.
Brewhouse performs really good, only thing that I am not happy with, are sparge sprinklers (photo attached). I will change dose. Everything else is top quality.
Keg washer and filler works great, for that price is the best value for money.
I even asked them to do custom stuff on the brewhouse and they did it perfectly, eg, second tangential inlet on kettle and separate heat exchanger for the whirlpool, works great.
After sales support is excellent also, like they never sleep at all.
(PS: Regarding the sparge sprinklers, we checked with this client and found the issue was caused by insufficient on-site water supply. After increasing the water volume, everything works perfectly.)
1. Installation Service: Flexible, Professional, and Tailored to Your Project
Depending on the project size, we offer two installation options:
A: Free Remote Video Guidance
Ideal for small-scale breweries or clients with brewing experience. Our small brewing systems are pre-assembled before shipment—modules are clear, plug-and-play, and easy to set up. For non-modular systems, we add installation labels (as shown) and provide detailed instructions after testing. Even beginners can complete installation easily. We also offer real-time video support to ensure a smooth installation process.

B: On-Site Engineer Installation
For medium and large projects, we send experienced engineers to your site for installation, commissioning, and training. Even if you are a complete beginner, there is no need to worry—our engineers will train you step by step until you can operate the brewhouse independently and produce your first batch of beer successfully. Below are some photos from recent installation sites.

The following image shows a client’s feedback after finishing installation. Their encouragement motivates SDET to keep improving.

2. After-Sales Service: Reliable Long-Term Support
SDET provides:
A: 5-year warranty for tanks
Giving you strong protection compared with industry standards.
B: Free spare parts with shipment
Our warehouse keeps a stable stock of spare parts year-round. When you need replacements, we trace the exact model through our system and ship them by air immediately to minimize your downtime.
C: Lifetime technical support
Whether you upgrade your system or expand capacity, we maintain complete equipment records to support your long-term growth.
Below is feedback from two customers after running their breweries for some time.
